Edia Smart Media Company, based in Tokyo, announced a licensing agreement with Takara Tomy to port the classic PS1 game Battle Arena Toshinden to modern platforms. Originally released nearly 30 years ago, the game has not seen an official re-release beyond Japan’s PS3, PSVITA, and PSP versions. Despite no confirmed release date, it is anticipated for 2026 to 2027, exciting many fans who remember the series fondly.
