Sounds Like You’ll Need Real Good Hand-Eye Coordination To Play Pragmata

Capcom’s rare new IP, Pragmata, is setting sights on a release next year, and it appears some outlets had some time with the game. One thing of note is the game will have players hacking enemies while avoiding their attacks.

VGC shares their experience, noting their 20-minute demo uncovered the true meat and potatoes of the game, that being fighting robots. But, you can’t just shoot them, the rounds bounce off, instead you have to hack them with Diana in a minigame while also keeping your distance and avoiding attacks as Hugh.

The minigame is described as a “snake-style grid” where you’re tasked with “connecting nodes on a grid from A-to-B.” It will appear on the left-hand side of the screen while the rest is taken up by Hugh and the approaching bots. Beyond that, though, the game comes with the twist that you can’t keep spamming a singular weapon; it will break over time.

Pragmata is eyeing a 2026 release, but hasn’t shared any sort of window beyond the year.

What do you think? Are you excited for Pragmata? Do you have solid hand-eye coordination? Let us know below!
