Konami and developer NeoBards Entertainment have confirmed that Silent Hill f’s latest patch, 1.10, will include a new action difficulty level, making combat encounters easier. The new difficulty mode, titled Casual, will be selectable when starting a new game, as well as being an option for players looking to venture through the title in New Game+.
The new Casual difficulty aims to be an even easier option than Story Mode, with Hinako replenishing stamina faster, taking reduced damage and fewer enemies appearing in encounters.
The latest patch has also introduced a new skip functionality for New Game+, allowing players to skip certain parts of the game for those planning a second (or third) run through and experience alternative endings.
When PSX Extreme played Silent Hill f at launch, we were impressed by the survival horror title, applauding its terrifying atmosphere and great gameplay.
