Korean developer Shift Up has begun the process of recruiting staff for the follow up to their 2024 hit title. The recruitment page on the developer’s website lists multiple roles for the studios next project. The advertised jobs include a writer, a level designer and a system designer.
Stellar Blade was a success when it launched as a PS5 exclusive in April 2024 – a sequel was guaranteed.
The follow up was formerly said to be targeting a 2027 release, but that appears to be an ambitious target. Considering the studio is just hiring development staff at the end of 2025, the sequel could be some way off.
