According to a Russian RT report (as cited by Destructoid ), a man is suing Fallout 4 developer Bethesda for "emotional distress."
This is due to his addiction to the acclaimed game, which he claims made him lose his job and wife. He's seeking 500,000 roubles (about $7,000) for his ills. The man said he originally only intended to play for "a couple of evenings" but then he started skipping work to play, which led to the loss of his job. Then, he stopped seeing his friends, his wife disappeared, and his health went into the tank:
"If I knew that this game could have become so addictive, I would have become a lot more wary of it. I would not have bought it, or I would have left it until I was on holiday or until the New Year holidays."
RT says there has never been such a case in Russia and the man's representation says they want to "see how far" they can go with it. Yeah, well, refusing to take responsibility for one's own existence is a worldwide epidemic; why should it only infect Americans?

I had to put Piper at home to take Cait out drinking. I hope Piper doesn't find out if I sleep with the lush. She didn't find out I banged the lounge singer but she doesn't belong to my settlements.
I slept with the singer and Piper of course disliked that. Lol I walked out the room with a so in love Piper disappointed with my actions clearly displayed in a brief line on the screen, but not in her actions…video game style lol
What a loser. I definitely got sucked into FO4, but still attended to work and my professional progression in real life. I did give up a few workouts and parties, but so. This dude lost it all…specifically his sanity, dignity, and reality!!!
