Whether due to an exclusivity deal Sony has with Electronic Arts, or to the simple fact that PlayStation 4 is beating Xbox One right now, Star Wars: Battlefront is much more popular on PS4.
Well, according to one sampling of statistics, anyway.
As reported by SegmentNext , it seems that at one point, PS4 had as many online Battlefront players as Xbox One and PC combined . The information comes from this sampling:
The source in question says these numbers "are updated every five minutes, and are gathered directly from EA's servers." Things can probably change significantly from time to time and day to day, but even so, it does seem clear that the majority of Battlefront fans are playing on Sony's console.
Recently, EA said we can expect more Battlefront games in the future , and earlier shipment predictions were around 13 million. Think EA will ship more or less than that number…?

How's about instead of me of saying the dreaded "milking" word since I'm trying to have a more gentler, kinder, kind of morning, I'll say this instead……
Just witnessed EA's Prez handing out anti-static "Andre The Giant" sized shoehorns to every soon after this morning's board meeting.

And i still have zero intrest in this game and judging from the reviews im not missing much
Honestly I disagree with all reviews. I would have rated it 8.5ish maybe even 9 if I go by how much fun I've had with it. The wow factor still hasn't left me after about 30 hours and when you get a little tired of a mode you can just switch and explore other. Found myself doing a couple walker assaults and then blaster and then flying ships then supremacy and joining different online buddies. The immersion is crazy and graphics are phenomenal. All the modes I named come with their custom made maps too so you don't just always play at the same place.
i wonder if the star wars themed ps4 had anything to do with those #s
the game has great potential, but maybe next years will fulfill that void. and im not talking about sp.
Only way they will ship close to that amount is through the EA access program……and maybe if they count demos 🙂
Someone has to say it.
The force is strong with this one.
So strong in fact, that one Supremacy match spawned two Luke's… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvqrpPZx-jA&index=2&list=PLpKyaoS6cIG29xnyfgZaLXhfkRFkqxTWO
