Ben-DutkaSony usually doesn't respond to the competition very often. It's Microsoft who appears to be far more likely to throw a few jabs here and there.
And when Sony does respond, it's typically pretty subtle…and pretty funny. It'd be interesting to know what Sony bosses think of the freshly unveiled Xbox One, so somebody decided to ask Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida.
It was a simple question on Twitter : "What do you think of the Xbox One?" Now, obviously, Twitter isn't the place to get into a long, detailed discussion as everyone has to keep their thoughts relatively brief (or Tweet a hundred times). But Yoshida didn't need much space:
"@jimreilly Hi Jim, sorry I was back to sleep. You asked about HTC One?"
Most are theorizing that Yoshida was referring to the new HTC One smartphone, which was revealed a little while back. And basically, this is a jab at Microsoft's lack of originality for the name. The sleep part could be legitimate but…um…it's still really funny. We're sure he didn't mean to be all disrespectful but in a way, we hope he did. Microsoft seems to deserve it at this point. Did anyone like that event?
