Agent Still In Development, But Is It Now A Next-Gen Title?

For almost four years since, we've heard next to nothing about Rockstar's spy-oriented title set during the Cold War. However, that doesn't necessarily mean it's never coming…

As cited by Superannuation and Kotaku , a Rockstar Games employee headquartered in New York mentions Agent alongside Grand Theft Auto V as projects that are "currently in development" at the studio. Perhaps work on Agent has been temporarily abandoned in favor of GTAV, which would make sense as the latter is technically behind schedule.

Back in September of 2009, Rockstar hinted that Agent might see release in 2010, which obviously never happened. Then everything went quiet until two years ago, when Take-Two president Strauss Zelnick said the game was still in development. So here's something to consider- Maybe this elongated delay is due to the fact that Rockstar is now making Agent for the PS4…? There's some rational sense to that theory, don't you think?
