We're always up for a "unique next-gen game," aren't we? "Unique" is a good word.
Obsidian Entertainment has posted up a fresh job listing that pertains to the aforementioned project. It seems the Fallout: New Vegas developer has a promising next-generation title in the works…
The Level Designer position involves "planning and populating missions/quests, scripted sequences, encounters and rewards," and the game will include role-playing aspects. The qualified applicant will also be proficient in current game engines, including the Unreal Engine 3, CryEngine 3 and Source. Obsidian is also seeking a UI/User Experience Artist with previous experience on mobile or browser-based Flash applications.
This team has had some big missteps this generation ( Alpha Protocol comes rapidly to mind), but they do have the capability of doing something special.
Well, we hope.
