The trio of PlayStation Plus free monthly games has been revealed, with some decent selections, including one award-winning (and 10/10) cat game.
As revealed on the PlayStation Blog, these three games will be made available on November 4, with November 3 being the last day to pick up October’s lineup, which includes Alan Wake 2, Goat Simulator 3, and Cocoon.
Totally Accurate Battle Simulator | PS4, PS5
Developed by Landfall Games, Totally Accurate Battle Simulator is a simple game of war — place down your army and push through waves of other foes ranging from neanderthals with clubs to literal gods.
We actually reviewed it, with us calling it “content-rich,” “cheap,” and “silly fun.”
EA Sports WRC 24 | PS5
EA Sports WRC 24 fits that racing and rally niche of gamers, we guess, and fits snugly with the other two games. Frankly, though, this feels sort of like a slap in the face, as it’s done and dusted, with developer Codemasters confirming that it’s paused WRC developments.
Regardless, though, it’s not impossible to play, so at least there’s that.
Stray | PS4, PS5
Behold the cat game; the one that’s not only captured the hearts of fans, but critics alike. Stray follows a cat’s adventure to return to the surface of a dystopian world with the help of the little robo-companion, B-12.
We reviewed Stray, awarding it one of our rare 10/10 scores. So, this is certainly a solid choice.
