Gabriel Stanford-ReisingerA new version of the PS5 Digital Edition might be on the way, if reports surrounding a new version Europe are true. Notably, it will come with less storage and remain the same price.
Reliable leaker Billbil-Kun (via VGC) alleges that starting September 13, European consumers will start seeing Digital Editions with 825GB of storage as oppose to the 1TB of storage we’ve grown accustomed to. It’s not clear if it will keep the 1TB at its current price, increase it, or just dash it altogether, but right now it seems to exclusively be an EU thing.
Since its debut, the PS5 Digital Edition has seen two price hikes in Europe, with the most recent being in line with the hike earlier this year that also hit the US.
