Jason DittonThe old-school Taito platform series Bubble Bobble made a return at Arc System Work’s first “Direct” type presentation. Separate from Puzzle Bobble (or the Bust-A-Move series in the US) but sharing the same adorable dinosaur mascots Bub Adventures and Bob… of presumably the same last name, this contributor is honestly not wholly sure. Pair other popular mascots have made that topic somewhat complicated. Anyhow, this will be the first Bubble Bobble since before the pandemic, and it looks to be as adorable as ever. It also looks to be somewhat of a roguelite platformer.
There’s no precise date as of now, with Winter 2025 being the release window for PS5 and other console releases of the title here in the States, EU, and Asia, with the Japan release window being in 2026. There will likely be more information as the date gets closer, and more information is released.
