John LittleIt was recently announced that GTA VI would be delayed to November 19, 2026. Whilst many developers will change release dates to accommodate this, Insomniac has doubled down on their current release of “Fall 2026.”
This announcement came from the developer on their official X account. Their announcement also informed the public that their game is available to wish list on the PlayStation Store.
Whilst Wolverine is currently scheduled to launch in the same time period as GTA VI, it is not known how close the release dates will actually be. Sony and Insomniac may choose to launch the game in a different part of the autumn 2026 season. However, we will have to wait until Sony announces more information on the release date in the future to see what the impact of Rockstar’s delay is for Insomniac.
