Matt HillOvershadowed by news of Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto VI delay, Skydance’s anticipated Marvel adventure starring Captain America and Black Panther has also been delayed.
The studio confirmed the delay via X with a post explaining due to the project’s ambition, more time is needed to develop the title to “make it something truly special.”
There was no release date for Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra aside from early 2026, but now that’s been pushed back to a vague “beyond early 2026” timeline. Though I doubt many would be surprised, as no gameplay for the title has been seen, and the only footage so far is the story trailer, which you can check out below.
