Lucy Trailer Released For Guilty Gear Strive At EVO, Guilty Gear Strive 2.0 Announced

At the end of Guilty Gear Strive Top 8 at EVO, Arc System Works released the trailer for the Guilty Gear series’ first collab character, Lucy from the apparently quite popular anime, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Her appearance would seem to be post-Edgerunners. The trailer seems to be teasing future characters for Strive, or this apparent Strive 2.0 in lieu of a Season 5 pass. No word on if it’s ‘just’ a full on update, or if this’ll be one for the long line of Guilty Gear expanded editions/expansions in the line of Xrd Rev and Rev 2, or the many, many versions of Guilty Gear XX from before technology made direct add-ons feasible.

Lucy herself releases August 21st, 2025 on all systems that Strive is currently available, whereas Strive 2.0 itseld releases sometime in 2026, no information beyond that at present time.
