For those in the dark about this indie title, Lil Gator Game was a December 2022 game where a young gator makes friends in a giant park through cardboard-filled adventures, all the while trying to get his big sister to play along. Despite the game’s upcoming DLC being announced early this year, it is only now that the official release window announcement has finally been made:
There was a previously closed-off cave in the base version of the game that is about to be blown wide open. From there, players will be able to uncover new treasures and even more new friends to make along the way.
Lil Gator Game was originally released on PC and Nintendo Switch before being ported to both last-gen and current-gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles (via Playtonic Games). The DLC will also be included with the base game in a bundle known as the “Gator of the Year Edition” (as mentioned by Gematsu).
