Jason DittonIn a sudden, as in 1 AM in the morning EST sudden, news, Koei Tecmo, massive and highly respected publisher behind the Atelier, Dead or Alive, Winning Post and Fatal Frame series, stated that the most recent edition of its equally huge Dynasty Warriors side of it’s many Musou titles is getting a “major” DLC, and one of the long-running series earlier editions is set to get a remaster.
There are no further details as of this time, and not much in the way of potential clues in regards to the latter remaster. Considering the announcement has occurred while EVO, the biggest fighting game tournament of the year is going on, this contributor can’t help but muse on if the a remaster of the original Dynasty Warriors, which was a 1v1 fighting game before the franchise made the massive historical hack & slashing turn that sent it to the heights it had and has, is in the cards.
