John LittleFollowing the announcement of the mobile-focused MMORPG set in the Horizon universe, Horizon Steel Frontiers, many fans questioned why a PS5 port was not announced or available.
Now, Lee So, executive producer has announced that a PS5 port is “technically possible” and they will communicate with PlayStation about it, per Zuby Tech.
This announcement is interesting. Given how recently the game was announced, it is good to see such a quick and positive response in regards to a port request. Furthermore, it also makes sense considering that many fans found it unusual for a large PlayStation property to have a game that was not coming to PlayStation.
Regardless, if Sony does approve the port and it starts work, it is likely to take some time. This may mean that those who do not want to play the game on mobile or PC will have the opportunity to see how the game lands before potentially giving it a go.
