Gabriel Stanford-ReisingerGrand Theft Auto VI has been officially delayed, pushing itself way towards the end of 2026. We kinda knew it was too good to be true that it would release in May 2026.
Coming straight from the horse’s mouth, the next GTA entry will now release on November 19, citing typical development jargon of needing extra time to polish the game. That said, with how solid the previous trailers look, Rockstar might actually be the sole dev where this delay is totally justified.
Frankly, Rockstar was already in over their heads when they thought a 2025 release was feasible. Hopefully, those extra months will help the studio make the game the best it could possibly be.
