John LittleSony has announced a free update for Ghost of Yotei that launches November 24.
The highlight of this patch, per the PlayStation Blog, is that it introduces new game plus. This will let you start the story again, but with all the upgrades and materials you obtained during your playthrough.
In order to prevent the new mode from feeling stale, Sucker Punch have introduced two new difficulties and Trophies for players exclusive to NG+. There will also be a new vendor that sells over 30 cosmetics, including dyes and armor. It will also include 10 new charms. These can only be obtained using ghost flowers, a new currency.
The update will also feature new options for photo mode, as well as the ability to replay sections of the game.
Finally, they announced a new Legends mode should arrive sometime in 2026.
