A performance bug is leading to quite the issue for Gearbox Software’s Borderlands 4, which while it didn’t have the best launch in terms of glitches, PS5 Pro appears to be among the worst performing platforms.
Don’t worry, though, Gearbox is working on fixing the issue, but until then, CEO Randy Pitchford suggests players “quit game and restart.” Apparently, this glitch happens to players that are playing the game for “several hours” continuously. To his credit, we guess, at least he apologized “for the friction.”
Now, PS5 Pro players got a very different response from Pitchford than PC players, which he promptly told to get a refund from Steam if they didn’t want to wait for updates. With the console market, though, PlayStation is a lot stricter about what qualifies for a refund.
We’re sure this Borderlands 4 PS5 Pro issue will get resolved, but we’ll have to wait and see how long it takes.
