A teaser trailer just dropped for the first game of a new video game developer 10:10 Games. They call their first ever title Funko Fusion and is set to launch this upcoming Fall on September 13, 2024 for PC and all other major platforms except for Xbox One.
Considering that September is a few more months away, it is still a bit tricky to tell what type of game Funko Fusion will be like. First impressions is that the game almost gives a Lego game vibe like Lego Star Wars (without the Lego-building mechanic) or even Skylanders or Disney Infinity but starring Funko Pop figures. Though for more clarification, the FAQ section in the official Funko Fusion website provides the following game description:
Funko Fusion is a story-driven handcrafted third-person action game where you get to play with some of your favorite characters from across TV, movies, games, and comics.
The pre-order bonus centers around a free DLC pack themed after The Walking Dead. 10:10 also teases official Funko Pop figures based on the game that will be coming at a later time. Unlike Skylanders/Disney Infinity, you won’t need to buy the actual Funko figure in order to play as the characters in game.
Funko Fusion will heavily feature Pop figures based on the movies/shows of NBC Universal including Jurassic Park/World, Battlestar Galactica, Back To The Future, Masters of the Universe, Umbrella Academy, and many more.
