Sony Shuts Down Loyalty Stars Program
Sony is shutting down the PlayStation Stars program. From the new update, users can still play campaigns and get points until July 23rd. PlayStation won’t be accepting any new members to its Stars program ahead of the termination of the program. However, any points accumulated can be withdrawn on or before the termination date. These points can be converted into vouchers, which are similar to the technology used for Cash App payouts at online casinos. New Monthly Games For PlayStation Plus Members

The games will be available from July 1st to August 4th. The games include Diablo IV, The King of Fighters XV, and Jusant.
Diablo IV is available to both PS4 and PS5 users, and it is a next-level action RPG game where players explore a dark world, fight monsters, and collect gear. You can play this alone or with friends. This game has a detailed story where players meet interesting characters and discover dungeons filled with enemies and treasure.
In King of Fighters XV, players will enjoy a classic fighting game experience as the game is famous for its fast action and cool characters. The game is based on a 3v3 fighting setup where you can pick from about 39 fighters, both from the past and present. PlayStation Plus members get a free costume for Leona, changing her outfit to her look from KoF ’96.
Jusant is available only on PS5, and it is an action-puzzle adventure game where players have to climb a mysterious tower filled with secrets from an ancient world. Jusant allows you to play at your own pace, exploring different paths and mastering the climbing tools. As you play the game, you will find clues about the history of the tower and the people who lived there.
There are a few other celebratory activities for the 15th anniversary. PS Plus subscribers get a trial for WWE 2K 25 and Monster Hunter: Wilds.
New Firmware Boosts Wi-Fi and Audio
For Portal handheld users, a new patch, 5.1.0, was introduced. This new patch gives faster Wi-Fi hand-overs, improved battery monitoring, and clearer error messages, which is great news for users streaming very demanding games over home mesh networks. PlayStation also rolled out system update 25.04-11.40, which introduced a new ‘Audio Focus’ preset. Although this feature is optional, it can make in-game dialogue clearer when using headsets, and it also brings back the ability to customize your dashboard icons.
