Okay, so if we do the localization math, which is always an imperfect science…hmm…
We figure if we keep an eye on Japanese news and dates, we can stay ahead of the game when it comes to certain titles. A reader has turned us onto a new Andriasang report , which states that Sony Computer Entertainment has given White Knight Chronicles: Dogma Wars – the PSP iteration – a Japanese release date. It'll be available on February 3 in the Land of the Rising Sun, and gamers can nab it in standard UMD form, or they can purchase it online at in downloadable form on the PSN. The game will also boast an "Online Play License" for online action and if you activate this license within the first two weeks of the game's availability (between February 3 and February 17), you'll receive a limited edition set of six "Dogma Series" weapons. For the record, those weapons "can be created by working through the story" if you don't activate the license in time. Lastly, even though it's in Japanese, you might want to check out the title's official site .
So if Japan gets it on February 3, when do you think it'll show up on US shores? The localization processes shouldn't take as long as they used to…and while we're on the subject, may we have a finalized WKC2 release date for North America, please?
Side Note- We gave a mention to BikerSaint for giving us a lot of news tips; now we have to give another to Peter B., aka Orvisman, who gave us this info. …these two guys are always sending us tons of stuff. 🙂
