Level-5 Has Big Plans For White Knight Chronicles 2

White Knight Chronicles 2 has been out in Japan since July 8 (lucky, lucky), but there's good news: Level-5 has a lot more to add, and all that extra stuff should – theoretically – come packed into the US version of the game.

Based on new details in this week's Famitsu and as summarized by Andriasang , Level-5 intends to enhance and upgrade their sequel" in (or beyond) January of 2011, they'll toss in a whole new "story quest" element; they basically let you experience a fresh story with your avatar as the main character. In this new mode, you'll find new maps, knights and enemies. Then, planned for Spring (or beyond), the game will net a "Guild System." This let you and your allies create a shared space on Geonet with a message board, rooms, and shops. Everything will only be accessible by members of your guild, which will have a reputation parameter as well. The higher the reputation, the the higher the guild level, and that translates to fancier rooms and shops. Other updates planned are:

WKC2 is a game fans of the original most definitely want. Hopefully, Level-5 will deliver a US release date before long, and when the game finally does arrive, all this cool stuff might be included…
