Lighting as a model? Sure, that could work. Maybe her strawberry blonde hair makes her a unique candidate.
A recent Louis Vuitton campaign ad actually uses the Final Fantasy character as a model for the French fashion company's latest campaign (as cited by DualShockers ).
Nicolas Ghesquiere shared a "Series 4" promotional video featuring Lightning (see it through the link above); and as Ghesquiere stated:
"Reality and fantasy become one. Lightning a genuine heroine in the new @louisvuitton series 4 ad campaign."
Square Enix's Visual Works CG division produced the video under the direction of long-time franchise boss Tetsuya Nomura. And these outfits were actually shown off earlier this year at the Louis Vuitton Women's Spring-Summer Fashion Show. If you're interested, check it out right here:

Not surprised with Nomura being involved in this, that guy like George Lucas as been becoming gradually more insane each year and probably just like Star Wars they need to replace him with a real fan to be in charge of the franchise in order to FF be good again.

Fans always make better creators than the creators.
OK, no, not one of them(& yes I know it's supposedly the last model) looked even remotely like Lightning to me.
All I saw was wafer-thin anorexia stick-figures on stilts & a whole lot of super-fugly robotic-humanoids about to march off to their restrooms once again so they can purge their one lonely nibble on a twig sprout.
Quickly now, somebody please get them each a Mc'D's Quarter Pounder with cheese as a humane 2016 New Years Resolution.
I'm glad she found a job that she's better suited for.
Seriously I swear the big wigs at Square have freaking a hard-on for Lightning or something. Just let her and the bogus trilogy die already.
