Ben-DutkaAll right, so they won't confirm that inFamous 3 is in the works, but at the same time, they don't appear to be unhappy with their working relationship with Sony, either. And that's worth noting.
Although it's a somewhat broken translation , it seems clear that developer Sucker Punch is happy to remain at Sony's side. The team that brought you the entertaining inFamous franchise this generation appreciates their position, as studio co-founder Bruce Oberg said:
"We'll see where we go next. We have a great relationship with them [Sony] and adore the PlayStation platform. Not lying when I say that for us is a killer technology platform to work with. Moreover, the media, marketing, and also the approach, allowing us to make the game we want to do is really incredible."
That was in response to whether or not they'll give us inFamous 3 (and they better, at some point). Sucker Punch has said that letting Sony have that great IP is a "small price to pay" for being able to "make the game you want." Well, I know the game I want is the next inFamous , so…chop chop, guys. And please do make it a PS4 launch title if you so desire. 😉
